This workshop is for your CHILD! to help them reduce their anxiety. Broken into 3 sections 1. Recognise - teach them to understand the mechanisms in their brain and what anxiety is (all explained in a child friendly way. 2. Reframe - help them change their view of anxiety and see that it is their SUPERPOWER and not to fear it. 3. Retrain - 3 simple but effective techniques from neuroscience, explained in simple terms for them to implement straight away and start to improve their anxiety levels Watch as many time as you want! Anxiety, low confidence, worry... whatever you choose to call it anxiety can be hugely detrimental to competition performance. Harnessing anxiety is as important as skill as any other sporting skill your child learns. This workshop has been designed using teaching from neuroscience to recognise why we suffer from anxiety, what anxiety is and why it can have such a negative impact on performance. We reframe our view of anxiety and work to turn it to our advantage with three simple but powerful anxiety-busting techniques from neuroscience. This course is a MUST for any child involved with competitive sport. It is fun, child friendly, suitable for children of any age and all the science is explained using funny analogies that are easy to understand and remember. The workshop can be broken into sections and taken over time. Each section is between 3 to 15 minutes long.
